Does SFTP support SSH certificate authentication?

I have always used Filezilla and WinSCP for my SFTP transfers because they support SSH certificate authentication (actually using a key I generated in PuTTY - puttygen.exe). Actually, almost all FTP and telnet programs support SSH certificate authentication. SSH certificate authentication allows you...

Re: Tip: How to clear/clean your history in Directory Opus

I just tested. CCleaner and other history cleaners won't clear them without the process closed but I can manually delete them in Directory Opus itself.

Re: Tip: How to clear/clean your history in Directory Opus

Leo, you are so genius, so helpful, and can usually answer any difficult question just off the top of your head. On this one, I've been doing this for over 5 years and it's never caused any problem at all (and I cleared my history a lot!!). Of course, I always exited properly but killed dopusrt.exe ...

Tip: How to clear/clean your history in Directory Opus

I thought this might be helpful for others... You can remove all traces of your history by removing the following files: C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\State Data\dupe.osd C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\State Data\find.osd C:\Users\[User Na...

Re: Dark Elegance Theme - The ultimate dark theme for DOpus

Thank you. If you can figure out how to change them, please let me know. I would love for them to be dark. I think those are based on the Windows colors. One thing that I love about the color scheme, the folders are also blue in a Unix or Linux system. It really helps to visually differentiate them....

Re: Dark Elegance Theme - The ultimate dark theme for DOpus

If you want to see the default changing detail view and thumbnails based on content, leave the little lock in the status bar unclicked. http://mindnugget.com/dopus/lock_click.gif If you want to see a more simple list view, leave the icon locked. Change folders to see the new default. If you do not w...

Re: Win XP and Opus 11

I run Windows XP in a virtual machine on my Linux box. It runs much better than Windows 7 or 8 in that type of setup. Booting that VM up is lightning fast. (Plus, I don't have to buy another Windows license.)

Windows XP has it's uses still. Though, it's behind multiple firewalls.

Re: Cannot change background color in details view

Jon, you are awesome! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Now I have my dark theme I wanted for so long. *happy dance*

I can't remember, I set up everything to be detail view a long time ago. Where do I change it to list view by default? Do you know off the top of your head?

Cannot change background color in details view

I can't seem to change the background color for Directory Opus 11 for only details view. All the other colors, I have changed. As you can see here, it's still almost white and the only background that isn't dark: screencapture.png I would love to have a darker theme because it's easier on my eyes. T...

Re: Can't delete a tab group - Tabs/Edit Tab Group does noth

Yes, that way does work. Thank you. I guess there is a bug in the Tabs menu. Maybe it should just go to this section in preferences.

Thank you so much for your help!

Can't delete a tab group - Tabs/Edit Tab Group does nothing

I can't delete or edit a tab group. If I click on the menu "Tabs" and then "Edit Tab Group", it does absolutely nothing at all. Is there a bug? I really love tab groups (for example for local and global start menu folders or for local and roaming appdata folders), but I can't mod...
