Open folder in <ugh> Explorer?

Once in a while I want to look at something in Explorer. But I guess I have full integration set. I tried launching folders on the Explorer command line, even that opens a Lister. How can I do this from a menu? Is it difficult?

Thanks

I can answer that <beam>... Under Preferences, go to Folders, Folder Formats, and you'll find one for 'Favorites'. You can create folder formats and apply them anywhere. Really nice. I use the header context menu, also, to set columns very quickly, from presets. That is a convenient method. There ar...

Audiotools Toolbar

I've been tinkering with this for many months, I believe I have it in a form to share now. It consists of a Toolbar, a special filetype group called Lossless Audio, and one User command which supports the toolbar encoding to mp3, ogg vorbis, and m4a which is I believe mostly for iPod, etc. I'll hope...

I've been meaning to try this... I have a 'go foldercontent' on my 'folders' context menu, but you have to surf the menu to get to it. A Menu Button or Menu on a toolbar allow you to quickly see the selected folder's contents by clicking. I was able to put 'go foldercontent {filepath$}' on a button,...

I wanted to say Thanks for these! They look great, and I have been playing or working as you like, with them, getting things set up, enjoying it, sometimes frustrating, but I've learned a great deal about which settings, where, change folder formats, and which ones override others, etc, so it has be...

Tanis, I don't want to sound dense here, but when I read the original post, I thought the OP actually wanted to invert the highlight (to make the button highlighted when NOT pressed) rather than disable the pressed state using an initial comment line. Even though I might have misunderstood the ques...

Hiya... actually I had thought about what you suggest: Just allow users to define their own tags. I am not certain how much work this involves. dbPoweramp and some other programs allow this, however, but then that is their job. :D In tagging programatically (or more to the point in this case, readin...

Some wishes :)

Directory Opus has LOTS of great features, and I was just looking at what is new (or corrected things I didn't even know were a problem!) version, which I am downloading now. There really seems to be a lot of work going on, even between major version releases. I appreciate these. My main 'collecting...

The question is: does anyone sucessfully use {infotip} somewhere? I'm pretty much a relative beginner, but I like to display information by an audio-related tool for 'music' files, so yes, I use {infotip} to display that, and also include the information DOpus supplies for the same type files. It w...

Hi, if it is a big job, no worry. I just like to suggest things I like, they may not be very much use at all to most people. Actually, though, I haven't put a lot of thought into it... but personally, I would like to see some way to do exactly what you said: See what type of files are in folders wit...

FolderContent: Folders?

I have set up a button, which is really fine for using for this purpose... but I have been unable to figure out a way to set a custom foldercontent type for subfolders? There are some very helpful columns for folders... would it be that difficult to create a content type which detects that x% of the...

Thank You, Leo. I am working with DOpus sometimes learning, other times just trying to manage some unruly files. :D Also being distracted by family matters and such. Hey, Thanks! It is very cool that DOpus does pass in the correct order. Or the 'expected' order. So far my work has shown this, also. You know, I had some control in mind, but I've forgotten now. However, an information box (like a MessageBox) which could give the user an instruction, and not be mod...

order of files passed to button code

If I am not mistaken, there is a problem with Windows, where selected or wildcard-chosen files are not necessarily passed to an application in the correct (meaning: sorted) order. I have seen this most commonly I think, involving the first/last or both files. Right now, I am trying to access a wildc...

d3cp would copy every ID3 Tag from any file format I think (you can even copy the ID3 Tag to an empty file which is like a backup ). But I don't know wether ogg/flac use these. I have compiled id3cp from the id3lib package. It was a simple example in it. Thanks Benjamin. I will try it. It will only...

It is curious to see someone else discussing this, as I am trying out Ultramon right now. I hope this is not rude... apparently it has many fans anyway :) ... but there is not a lot I like about it. Thank You All. I'm a bit of an overly-sensitive person. I will post some code snippets regarding the @sync (command?) if I verify that I am correct (or even incorrect!). Maybe I do expect too much from myself, as I expect perfection. Hah! DOpus is indeed complex and can be confusing. I have looked a...

I'd like to humbly apologize to all, especially Nudel, for my previous post. It is not generally characteristic of me. I've tried working with this thing quite a bit, and run into a lot of confusion. I'm sorry, I'm not very skilled with the quoting in the forums. I believe I have my functions working now. At least they work here.
