Re: IT Mode

As a an IT vendor since CP/M days I couldn't agree with Jon more. I might just add "Fools with Tools" to my company owner speech. :D

Re: Button to toggle sort by

I'm been using this as a custom command for the double-click on file display background which saves me lot of time and clicks. They only issue I have is knowing which sort is in effect while in thumbnail mode. I'm making a feature request to add "currently sorted field" to the status bar c...

Re: Intermittent Empty Tabs choosing sub-folders

That was it. What was set to "load on tab activation" was floppy, ftp, and network. But the settings affected at least fixed drives and network paths (those were the two I noticed). If I can do more testing let me know.

Re: Intermittent Empty Tabs choosing sub-folders

Left Double-click not defined. Using a dual lister layout with several tabs open on both right and left. Upon further testing in only seems to happen in the right lister when first launched from tray, irregardless of starting tab, folder or tree. To clarify, bottom dual lister, I click on any bottom...

Intermittent Empty Tabs choosing sub-folders

After launching Opus from the tray and clicking on a folder it appears to be empty and displays an "Empty Tab" folder. If I move to a different folder and then back the folder opens normally. Not really a big deal, but I expected others to have the issue. Running Windows 10 Insider Preview...

Re: Show viewercmd=moveto, copyto with foldercontent

You're right Leo--I had never tried a hotkey in any context (inadvertent pun). Any attempt just results in the foldercontent argument being ignored. If it would be possible a hot key would be nice, but the context menu addition/fix should allow a lot of DO users to not have to use 3rd party viewer f...

Re: Show viewercmd=moveto, copyto with foldercontent

Let's say you have jpgs c:\downloads. Your photos are in c:\photos and it has subfolders bob, tom and sally. The context menu for "Image Viewer Context" contains go c:\photos foldercontent=nofiles, move, button. If you right-click on an image it should have bob, tom and sally near the bottom...

Re: Show viewercmd=moveto, copyto with foldercontent

In 12.2 the context menu works now--thank you so much. The hot key still affects the lister (changing the active directory to the path give in the foldercontent command), regardless of being defined in the image viewer toolbar, or defined under image viewer hot keys.

Neither the hotkey or context menu work. The toolbar command works perfectly.

Re: Show viewercmd=moveto, copyto with foldercontent

So we can have a right click context menu in the viewer to move images to specific locations or folders relative to the image (?).

12.1.1 added go foldercontent to the toolbar--I'm hoping they can add it to the context menu. :D

Re: Show viewercmd=moveto, copyto with foldercontent

I'm sorting through hundreds or thousands of images of several folders. I have a lister open on the left monitor that lets me quickly sort, filter, switch between thumbnail and detail view, go to into flat view depending on the need. My right monitor has the full image viewer. The enhancements in th...

Re: Show viewercmd=moveto, copyto with foldercontent

That was it Leo-thanks. And also turning off show icons. Since I normally use the foldercontent command in context menu commands I wasn't expecting that behavior (although it was correct).

Re: Show viewercmd=moveto, copyto with foldercontent

Thanks so much for adding this but I'm having an issue. The top level of the target folders show the folder icons, no the name of the folder. Subfolders appear correctly, as names. I've tried several option of the command as well as different target folders. The infotip shows the folder name, but th...

I'd like a toggle in viewer preferences "Keep viewer in sync with the launching lister".

Show viewercmd=moveto, copyto with foldercontent

With the added features to the image viewer, it would be nice to move images to a folder by using a context menu entry like the one I use for the images filetype--Go f:\!show FOLDERCONTENT=move, something like
Show VIEWERCMD=moveto f:\!show FOLDERCONTENT

Re: Cool renaming bug (I think)

The reasons these command as "still" reserved is because they still work. Need a fast text file--type in copy con test.txt hit enter and start typing, hit ctrl-z of F6 to save the text. the lpt ports still work from the command line and in Windows--enable printer pooling and chose lptx alo...

Re: Error in Windows 10 Build 14376

Thanks for the responses Leo! Fortunately the crashes are infrequent enough that I can still enjoy playing with the new features in 12.0.8.
