Re: Shared Folders Only Display After Opening Network In Explorer

I thought this thread was going to die unanswered.
By the way. This issue still persists on all my computers.

Thanks for your reply, Leo.

Re: The Photos App Previous & Next Arrows Not Working From Directory Opus

Another thing that I noticed is that I don't have as many "Open With" options in Directory Opus as I do with Explorer. Maybe that's a clue to my problem.

The Photos App Previous & Next Arrows Not Working From Directory Opus

If I open an image using the Photos app from Explorer, the Previous and Next image arrows on the screen work fine, as do the keyboard arrow keys. But if I open an image using the Photos app from Directory Opus, the Previous and Next image arrows are greyed out and the keyboard arrows don't work eith...

Re: Tooltip Sits On Top Of Context Menu

I can't remember if I saw it in any other situations, but I will keep an eye on it and see.

And thanks very much for that fix. That will be great. It used to happen quite often for me. :)

Shared Folders Only Display After Opening Network In Explorer

Sometimes when I click on Network in Directory Opus, some of my shared folders in my network don't display. But, if I open up Network in Explorer, all my shared folders immediately display in Explorer and Directory Opus. I am finding I am having to perform this workaround sometimes to get Directory ...

Rename Multiple Images

I have a number of images (photos) that are currently numbered like this.
IMG_1004
IMG_1005
IMG_1006
IMG_1007
IMG_1008

I would like to rename them all to:
Formal Photos 01
Formal Photos 02
Formal Photos 03
Formal Photos 04
Formal Photos 05

Can can I make this task easy in Directory Opus?

Thanks.

Tooltip Sits On Top Of Context Menu

I have a small, but very annoying issue with Directory Opus 12.
On many occasions, the Tooltip sits on top of the context menu partially hiding my options.

Is there a way to make the Tooltip drop behind the context menu?

Re: Does Directory Opus Have An Instant Color Filter?

I don't suppose that the file name can be colored without coloring the icon, can it?
For example, a ZIP or RAR file icon looks crap colored.

Re: Does Directory Opus Have An Instant Color Filter?

Thanks Leo.
In my particular case both the light green (RGB 0, 255, 0) and dark green (RGB 0, 128, 0) selection produces the same color folder icon. That's OK. I might try looking for .ico folders. :)

Thanks Amorax. I know how to change the folder icon color, but certain colors from the Color Palette don't always produce the expected color.

Re: Does Directory Opus Have An Instant Color Filter?

Hi Leo. I am not at my computer right now, but I changed the unselected text and icon color to the darker green in the color palette. I then selected that label color and applied it like your image above. The text changes to the darker green, but the folder icon displays as the light green. I experi...

OK.
The folder color doesn't change to every color like the text does.
The folder color is limited.
