Re: Dopus isn't showing m4a tags in metadata pane

I haven't changed from the default Info Tip and it doesn't show tags by default. Go to Settings -> File Types... Expand File Type Groups and highlight Music , and then click Edit . Switch to the Info Tip tab and configure it how you want. You'll find what you want when you click Insert Field and cho...

Re: Ugly reminder after OneDrive removal

After you removed OneDrive but still saw the ugly remainder, did you reboot at all?

Hint: opw62 is referring to the "Find" field in the dialog and Leo is referring to the "Replace" field in the dialog.

Re: Use Button to open OneNote Page

In his original post, he said, "I Need to execute Onenote, bringing up NoteBook-Section-Page" and then gave us the Notebook name, Section name, and Page name. We're aware of how to start Onenote, but Microsoft specifically removed command line options in the 2016 version.

Re: Use Button to open OneNote Page

We would have to run it as a command line. However, it appears Microsoft removed command line switches from Onenote 2016. (They existed in versions as recent as 2013.) No idea why they removed them. Without a way to pass the information on a command line, there won't be a way to open any specific it...

Assuming Preferences / Launching Opus / Startup / Launch Directory Opus automatically on system startup is already enabled, you can find that setting here:

Re: Dark grey-blue

Many of us wanting the "look and feel" of a theme don't want the theme to mess with our toolbars, buttons, and menus. I'm certain that a number of my buttons would only apply to my work, I wouldn't want to force you to load my buttons and external programs just to have the look I might hav...

Re: Rename as above file

If I recall correctly, some display drivers use CTRL+SHIFT+Up/Down/Left/Right as a way to rotate the screen (in case you want a screen to be portrait instead of the usual landscape, for example). It's possible that some other software is capturing those shortcuts before DOpus. I have to disable that...

Re: Admin mode to access folders on old drive

When I upgrade equipment, like a lot of people, I put the old hard drive into my computer, copy stuff off that I want to keep, and then format it so I can recycle the hard drive for some other purpose. If that's going to be your route, I recommend adding a "Take Ownership" context menu ent...

Re: Load CD/DVD Tray

Sorry I wasn't clear about it. I personally put it into the Windows folder so that I can simply call it up nircmd without having to refer to the full path if I put it elsewhere (unless that path is also in the systems PATHS). Basically if you were to put it elsewhere, like leo said, just put the fu...

It worked for me. In fact, I didn't think of testing it with Outlook closed.

[Doing that now.]

Yep. Works open or closed.

Re: Copy SENDMAIL to Outlook as HTML instead of Plain Text?

Microsoft has a page with Outlook command line switches. Slipstick has one, also. ⋅ Microsoft - Command-line switches for Outlook for Windows - Outlook ⋅ Slipstick - Command Line Switches for Outlook 2013 From what I see, if the command is: OUTLOOK /c ipm.note ...it will create a...

Re: Free space on destination not checked prior to copy/move operation

I agree. I'm positively paranoid about "disk full" situations to the point where I will be absolutely certain there's enough space beforehand. I don't like being overly cautious like that, but it's how I've had to work around this.
